This is a massive opportunity for third-placed Sekhukhune to strengthen their grip on third place and keep the heat on the top two.
A win here would extend their buffer over the chasing pack (Durban City on 32, AmaZulu on 31) and send a statement that they’re not dropping out of the elite conversation.
Polokwane City are the surprise mid-table package as they occupy the seventh spot, punching above their weight with solid form but facing a step-up against top-tier opposition.
Rise and Shine have been tough to break down, but Sekhukhune’s superior quality should shine through in a bid to secure a top-three finish.
